A year at its end

hmm its been a while since i've made an entry in my blog.. looking back, there were so many events that had occured for these past months. Happy ones and some dark and bad ones. Well, there is no use of reminiscing the past.. Focus more on what is at hand in this present time and make all your past experiences useful by using them in your daily routine.

Hopefully may we will be better persons in the year next to come.

Clean and be a true patriot yourself first

There are a lot of buzz going around nowadays of people holding demonstrations all around the globe and our country is also included. I think its nice that the people are voicing their same desire to have a better home, life and country but they should be courteous to other people as well. Never resort to violence, which is very important. It is our right to voice out but never should we be violent.

What if...

What if i become a different person
from what i am now
will i be a person who
are loved by those who know me
or will i be a person who
are hated by those surround me

What if i change
my principles, my attitude, my image
will there be any difference?

Something to be remembered... :)

Fall seven times, stand up eight.
- Japanese Proverb

First things first

When I was reading some interesting posts on a social network site, I saw many people talking about their new year's and new semester's resolution and it came to my attention that most of them said that they want to straighten up their priorities. Some said that they will put family first, others said to put their studies first and the list goes on and on. And its good. There's nothing negative about putting your priorities first. But in my opinion, one thing  is lacking and whether you agree with me or not, well, its all up to you. You might have different opinions and ideas and I respect that.
What I mean, ladies and gents, is that you should put your religion first, whether you're a Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, or any other religion. You should prioritize to be a good practitioner of your religion. I know that nobody's perfect and I am far from perfect as well, but we could remind each other if either of us makes mistakes or maybe neglecting our duties, in my case, as Muslims.
We often heard about human rights that we should always uphold, but what about God's right? The One who created us? Care for us? Guide us? Who always stay beside us without we knowing it. Sometimes we tend to stray away from our Deen or the Way of Life, whether we aware of it or not. I humbly remind myself and to you to practice what had been preached to us. After all death is just around the corner. We might forget all about it but death, its inevitable and absolute. We would not want to die with things left undone or incomplete now, do we?
After that, then you could put other priorities that you might deem important and meaningful for you. But at the end of the day, its up to you to decide what to be put and what not to be for your first priority. After all you have your own ideas, opinions and logic and I respect that.
The choice is yours to decide. And I pray may Allah grant you happiness and success in your life and in the Hereafter. Amin

sadness..
it's in me
anchored in my heart
and will never let go
I look for reasons
for this dreaded feeling
and i found not one
but quite a sum

sadness
is in me
how to cure?
no one knows
but one thing is for sure
only 'time' will tell
and will cure......

What I have gained from one of my hobbies

it happened when I was 11 years old. I used to wander around my neighbourhood and one evening I came upon a group of youths gathered around a house. they had their shirts off and seemed to be strutting about flexing their muscles. Then I saw something that perked my interest. A set of dumb bells and each of them took turns to exercise with the equipment.
I was intrigued and was impressed with the way the muscles moved as they did the exercise. Then after that day I dreamed of owning a set of dumb bells. It was two years after that day I finally got myself a 3 kg dumb bell. so I had a new hobby which is weight training aside from playing computer games. But sadly I was kinda lost my spirit because my mom said that i wont gain anything even if i exercise using the equipment. Its because I had a high metabolic rate. I eat a lot but i gain  little weight but i gain height.
The good thing is, I hardly gotten sick alhamdulillah and I could enjoy a wide variety of sports.

so people, even though others might say what's the point of exercising when you're skinny or small or whatever.. say to them that at least it could make you healthy :)
